The darkness of night is my favourite condition for photographing cities. In second place I would put fog.

A photogenic night can be found more or less easily all over the world. For photogenic fog, on the other hand, it is advisable to go to Lombardy between October and February.

It could also be exploited in sparsely or uninhabited areas, but I specialise in cities.

Paradoxically, it was precisely on the day of the perfect fog that I discovered the best part of the interior of Bergamo Cathedral. I do not know why, but on previous visits (for example in 2012) I had never entered this chapel.

To be seen in person. Absolutely.

Meanwhile, the fog disappears. The beauty of the city does not.
