Lodi, 24 October 2012

On a foggy morning at the end of October I found myself, for work-related reasons, in the city of Lodi. Having almost an hour of free time at my disposal, I decided to devote it to observing the changes and the elements that I had not noticed during my previous two visits (see reportages one and two).
The first thing one notices is the improved expansion of the local bike-sharing system: in the city centre there are now covered stations.

The racks for private bicycles are visible from afar thanks to the gigantic keys planted in the pavements. The idea is a good one.

In the centre I came across a few signs indicating a «Wi-Fi Area». I was unable to test the actual functioning of this positive innovation, but the natives maintain that I would have failed.

It is rare to see a doorway with side windows.

The monument cannot be seen not because of the fog. But the visual effect is strange all the same.

Fountains still operating despite the fog are another surreal sight.

Even stranger is seeing the rules of a fountain. Why are they only in Italian?
