I&nbsp;valzer&nbsp;n.&nbsp;1&nbsp;e 2&nbsp;furono originariamente scritti per orchestra e&nbsp;solo in&nbsp;seguito arrangiati (da&nbsp;compositore stesso) per pianoforte, mentre i&nbsp;valzer&nbsp;n.&nbsp;3&nbsp;e 4&nbsp;furono scritti subito per pianoforte.
