Sicuramente vi ricordate che due settimane e mezzo fa Joe Biden aveva esplicitamente definito Vladimir Putin come un criminale di guerra<\/a>. Molto probabilmente vi ricordate anche che tale definizione è stata criticata da molti per essere poco diplomatica…
\nIo, invece, già in quei giorni avevo seriamente dubitato della opportunità di essere diplomatici in determinate situazioni. Perché mi ricordo a cosa avevano portato i tentativi essere diplomatici — nei confronti di un pazzo dell’epoca — a cavallo tra gli anni ’30 e ’40 del secolo scorso. A molti vengono in mente i parallelismi con gli eventi di quegli anni, ma non a tutti viene in mente che all’inizio — quando venne perso molto tempo — ad avere ragione fu il politico con il linguaggio meno diplomatico: Winston Churchill. Ma il mondo cambia, quasi un secolo più tardi tutto succede più velocemente: probabilmente anche a causa di una migliore diffusione della informazione.
\nPiù velocemente arriva anche la comprensione di chi sia il politico con il quale bisogna coesistere.
\nIl prossimo passaggio: comprendere che non bisogna tentare di coesistere con certi personaggi.
